I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time the choir had presenting "The Gift" this year. It was awesome! We have tried over the past years in our Christmas Dessert Theater to adapt the usual musicals to fit our format, but "The Gift" far surpassed our expectations. The 'Broadway' style went over great. We had tried to move that way with some of the other musicals, but they never seemed to do what this one did. The choir told me that they had more fun doing the program this year than any one before. I especially appreciated the director's notebook. It was a lifesaver. Through this program, we have had over 25 decisions. Needless to say, we are anxious to do more.

The Gift" really was a gift. We spend a great deal of time each summer looking for a Christmas program that can be used as a bridge event to those in our community who are far from God. We were very unhappy with what was available. One morning while I was talking to the Lord about this, I felt compelled to enter "Broadway style church musicals" in my net search engine.. and up popped your website. With it came a flood of relief and a boat load of excitement. We deeply enjoyed preparing for "The Gift". It stretched us and challenged us and really united us. More importantly - it gave us a message to share. We had packed houses for all of our performances and really positive responses. It ended up being the perfect bridge event for Sierra Bible Church - Sonora, CA

Thanks so much for your help and assistance in our recent production of the Gift. It was presented as our Christmas Dinner Theater. We were so pleased with the professional manner all the details were handled on your end. The musical itself was a great success. The entire cast especially enjoyed the music. Each song was so singable and memorable. It was great and those who attended were touched. Thanks for sharing The Gift with us. We will be looking to see what else we can use from Church Musicals, Inc.

"One Bethlehem Night" was the most light-hearted and unique approach to the Christmas story that we have ever experienced at our church. Our audiences were captivated by its humor and touched by its sensitivity. Our music and drama teams are asking to do it again next year. Ed Kee seamlessly weaves music and drama in a way that is imaginative, easy to produce and rewarding for creative people to work on. His writing has a relevancy that makes pre-Christian people feel like they are in the comfort of a local theatre, but at the same time challenges them to understand the characters and the life-changing wisdom behind the true story of Jesus Christ.

"The Gift" was a delightful experience for my Christmas musical team. It was not impossible to do even though we had fewer actors than it called for. The songs were easy to learn and easy to sing. This was my first experience with leasing a musical production and it was a positive one. Ed Kee was very pleasant to work with. I am so glad Church Musicals exists, the church needs this type of resource for outreach.

This is a short e-mail to thank you for composing One Bethlehem Night. Our church choir here in Kodiak, Alaska presented it this past December twice for our church and the outlying town. The church was packed at both services and it was truly a blessing both to participate in and to those in attendance. There was a lot of talk all around town about it afterwards. Praise the Lord! Keep the faith and I look forward to seeing other works from you.

Musical theater is a wonderful vehicle for sharing Christian principles. "The Gift" is a splendid musical adaptation of the enduring story "The Gift of the Magi" and, as such, lends itself to community outreach. There is a natural flow between dialogue and music which makes this musical a joy to perform. It is very singable; sprinkled with humor and seasoned with love. We found that "The Gift" was also the "perfect" platform for sharing the story of God's sacrifical gift of love to all.

If you're looking for cutting-edge Broadway-style musicals for the church, this is one of the main places to shop. I had the privilege of working on the premiere of "One Bethlehem Night", and was very impressed with the upbeat, contemporary quality of the music and the lyrics, even while it was presenting our most treasured biblical story.

"Once Upon A Time Shop" is an excellent musical. Professionally entertaining yet the gospel message was presented in a natural manner.

It's time to raise the standard and we were able to do this with the musical One Bethlehem Night. I have had the privilege of directing One Bethlehem Night during the past year to four sold out audiences at our church in a dinner theater format. The story was fresh, insightful and entertaining. The characters were credible, the music contagious and the message... unmistakable. The church needs more of these types of productions if they plan to reach this generation for Christ.

After performing "Once Upon a Time Shop", I have to say "Bravo! Bravo!" What a masterpiece of creativity combined with an inspiring message! It is truly a work of skilled professionals whose hearts love their Lord Jesus! The in-depth message of loving our enemies, of sharing Christ, and of finding joy through knowing Christ are all apart of this entertaining musical! It is a must see and a joy to be in!

From the moment I previewed "Once Upon a Time Shop", I was hooked. It had elements of the "Annie" musical I knew and loved but centered on the goodness and faithfulness of God. The variety of musical styles gave us opportunity for a lot of fun choreography to add to the songs. I can't say enough about "Once Upon a Time Shop"... It was bound to be a success!

I wanted to write and tell you how excited I am about "Once Upon A Time Shop". I am thrilled with your musical! The whole program is a joy to hear and I truly believe it will bless all who see it. The Broadway sound and lyrics are wonderful - just what I've been seeking.
